Every day women and young girls walk up to 6 hours a day, 12 miles or more, in an extensive search for water to bring their villages. Almost 900 million people don't have access to clean water, a problem that causes a child's death every 20 seconds. The Samburu Project restores clean water in Samburu, Kenya by installing wells that access clean, fresh water, enriching the community and saving lives.

We are celebrating 8 years of clean water and the drilling of 52 wells aiding more than 52,000 people. There will be cocktails and creations by Kitchen 12000, live entertainment, and a special acoustic set by Sandra Day.
